The deadline for a person to register to roll with the RedShirt Rebellion is Saturday, January 18, 2025, by 11:59pm CST.  Registrations received after January 18, MUST pay $42 + processing fees – NO EXCEPTIONS.  Late registrants will need to pay via EventBrite or via card/Venmo during Droid Collar/t-shirt pick-up.

SubKrewes are permitted to have one FREE RedShirt for every 10 paying members (1:10/ratio) for their SubKrewe.  If your SubKrewe does not meet the 1:10/ratio, the RedShirt must pay to roll with Chewbacchus.  NOTE:  We will not allow a SubKrewe to have an excessive amount of “$42” (paying) RedShirts.

Requirements: 

• The minimum age to be a RedShirt is 18, but we prefer 21+. 
• RedShirts must remain reasonably sober during the parade but can relax and party down at the Chewbacchanal (we have actual “real” paid security at the party). 
• No RedShirt may escort any minors during the parade; please leave minors with a trusted family member or friend while serving the Rebellion/their SubKrewe on parade day. 
• RedShirts must provide time and talent prior to and on the day of the parade as a Parade Escort.

REMINDER:

• RedShirts are NOT permitted to carry a banner/sign or push/pull a contraption/wagon for your SubKrewe. 
• RedShirts need to assist with crowd control during the parade.
• Only the SubKrewe Captain (or their designated representative) will be permitted to pick-up the t-shirt, droid collars and traffic wands for their SubKrewe. We will email SubKrewe Captains the names of the people who signed up to escort your Krewe.  Please let us know if you have any issues with a person that has registered to escort your Krewe.

All RedShirts will be supplied with: 

• RedShirt t-shirt (please reuse your t-shirt from previous years) 
• Droid Collar (aka wristband) which grants them free access to the Chewbacchanal (they must fulfill their duties as a RedShirt the day of the parade) 
• Traffic directional wand (must be returned to the Rebellion at the end of the parade)
